ZVS Low Pressure / High Frequency Induction Heating

This board allows the management of electromagnetic flows through the use of a ZVS (zero voltage switching) circuit of nominal 1,000 W power, which can go up to 1,500 under certain conditions. In addition to heating and possible integration of the metals, the circuit can find other possible solutions, such as the transmission of energy in the use of coupled coils tuned to the resonance frequency. The circuit must be supplied with a DC voltage between 10 and 48 V and with a power output; if the maximum expected voltage of 48 Vdc is applied, check a power supply with a power not inferior to 1,500 W.
Insert the positive and negative wires of the power supply into the terminal, checking the polarity of the voltage and tightening the screws.

Power up the circuit between the + and - terminals and check that the green LED LD1 turns on to indicate the presence of the input voltage. At this point, the resonance current around 100 kHz circulates inside the coil work. If it is supplied with the maximum voltage provided (48 V DC) and without inserting the metal bodies inside the work-coil, the power consumption is less than 500 W; instead introducing a conductor, a second part of the material, the absorbed power can vary a lot up to a maximum of 1,500 W.

After selecting the conductor body to be inserted in the work-coil, such as a metal screw, grasp it and hold it in position with a clamp (which must not get too close to the coils) to avoid burns.

Slowly insert the conductor inside the work-coil, trying not to make it touch the winding walls. Keep the conductor in a vertical position inside the work-roll. The conductor is the principal of the transformer that has come from a solenoid, the conductive material is invested by the magnetic field lines more intensively than a position outside the solenoid.

In a short time the material inserted due to the Joule effect heats up and changes color taking on the typical colors of the orange-yellow glow.

This condition can be considered as a matter of time and time. We point out that after a few minutes of using the ZVS Induction Heater the coil-work winding will tend to darken, until it becomes almost black for the heat, but this does not preclude it.
